The Range
Stainton Metal Co. Ltd. are able to offer a complete range of fixed floodlighting columns from 5m through to 40m. For applications which require a columns from our standard range are easily adaptable by the inclusion of a floodlighting cross arm. For applications which require a larger column Stainton Metal Co. have the facilities to design and manufacture amsts up to a height of 40m. Further information on the high mast range is available on request.

Access to the floodlights
The standard column range does not include any facility for reaching the column top. A mobile platform would need to be brought in to the site, for which access and ground space would need to be sufficient. An alternative option is for us to supply a column that contains a means of reaching the floodlights. Above a height of 8m Stainton Metal are able to supply columns with detachable climbing rungs, which may be removed whilst not required either for safety purposes or aesthetic reasons.

These columns are also fitted with an anti-fall safety harness to guarantee absolute safety of the climber during climbing. A high resistant steel cable is fixed to the base and the top of the top of the column and an adjustable harness attaches to it. A stainless steel locking device, which locks the harness instantaneously when any vertical load is applied to it, insures the climber against falling.
