The Range
The Stainton Metal range of Group A/B columns features
octagonal, tubular and conical poles. Tubular and octagonal
columns are available with a wide range of bracket arm
styles and projections whilst the conical columns are
available with differing top diameters to suit post
top and other bracket arm fixtures. A wide range of
tapers and wall thicknesses ensures that a conical column
can now be offered for the majority of lighting applications.
The conical column range is also available with a wide
range of bracket options.
Specification
The columns fully comply with BS 5649 and EN40. Our
organisation is Quality Assured to BS 5750 parts 2 and
3, ISO 9002, EN 29002 and Quality Assessment Schedule
QAS 5020/304. Each column has a base compartment covered
by a door giving protection to IP33. These doors are
fitted with a vandal resistant triangular headed locking
arrangement. The group A tubular range features a unique
anti-rotation device, allowing for precise and quick
assembly on site and avoids the problems associated
with welding in castellated spigots.
