During the 1970s D.W. Windsor produced a small range of authentic victorian style lanterns to help market a large range of reconditioned antique lamposts salvaged from lighting renewal projects.

The market proved extremely receptive and demand was established very quickly. The heritage range steadily expanded and is still the mainstay of the company's luminaire products to this day.
